Introducing myself


My Name is Javiera, I was born in Santiago of Chile in 1999, in the same day of the couple anniversary of my parents, on january 23. Now I am 23 years old and I'm still living in the same city, in Maipú. 

I study Agriculture in the University of Chile, this is my fourth year and I have learned many interesting topics in a lot of courses, I like to learn of my carrer and I hope be an amazing professional one day; I love ecology, so one day I want to dedicate myself to help fight global warming and to preserve ecosystems and biodiversity. 

Besides studying, I like to spend my time with my friends, my family, my cat, listening music, watching series like "Bojack Horseman". Also I'm keen on playing ping pong, but at the start I was really bad, and with a lot of practice and play time I have improved very much. 

About my family, I have just one brother, he is 20 years old, and the last year he move to Argentina, because he entered the University there to study sports journalism, I haven't seen him for six months and I miss him a lot! because we are really close. In the other hand, my parents live with me, we love to spend time together, and we laugh so much. They are the best parents in the world.

Social Media  I think that social media platforms are really dangerous in many cases, if you do not take care and hide your information anyone can access it, and as in my case, as a woman you risk many dangers; Since I was a child I have heard terrible stories of women who were deceived by supposed  "online friends" who ended up being abusers, and for the same reason I have always been very careful with my social networks, who follows me and who can see my publications.  But not everything is bad, you can follow your idols of music, art or cinema. Also you can watch memes, see your friend´s pictures, share information, give your opinions, etc.  My favorite social media is Instagram, because I like following accounts about topics that are interesting  to me, like “Pusheen the Cat”, music or poetry, for example.                                                              One of  my favorite series  When I was a child one day  with my brother watching TV, we discovered a new serie; Gravity Falls, since this firts episode we are big fans of this TV program. I love the history, the mistery, the characters, the jokes, and how even being a kids´s serie, it shows you important lessons for the life from time to time. I like everything of this serie. I even bought 2 books this year (One for me and other for my brother, by gift)  of the  "DIARIO 3" in fisical, of the serie.
